Delivery and Availability

We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours (usually faster).  At present we only supply to addresses in the UK (including Highlands & Islands). If you order an item that is out of stock we will contact you to let you know an anticipated delivery date. If you prefer not to wait, please let us know and we will cancel your order and refund your payment. Colours of the jewellery may differ slightly from the on-screen colours due to monitor settings varying from computer to computer.  

Postage & Packing

Your order will be presented in an attractive 'Ebbing Tide' gift sleeve or box and posted out to you by first class post.  P&P is free for orders over £75.00, otherwise £2.25 per order.

Returns Policy

Apart from earrings (UK Health & Hygiene Regulations) and customised or commissioned items (unless originally faulty), you have the right to cancel the contract for your purchase/s within 7 working days, beginning the day after delivery to you under the Distance Selling Regulations. Contact us via phone, e-mail or post.  If you return item/s to us they must be unworn and in 'as new' condition.  Please include the packing slip, well package the item and return it to us within 7 working days after the day of the date that the item was delivered to you. Refunds can only be given on items received by us and we will not accept any responsibility for the loss and/or damage of items in transit from yourself to us.  We will refund you the postage costs of returning the goods to us.   Refunds will be via Paypal unless otherwise agreed. 

Faulty or Damaged Items

From experience in selling all these ranges from our gallery in Filey we know it's very unlikely that a piece will be faulty. However, if this does happen, please phone us or e-mail us and return the items to us within 10 days of receiving the order. Once we receive the damaged/faulty goods we will gladly either replace the item/s or refund (including your postage costs).

Payment                                                                                             

At the payment point you will be taken to the payment pages of Paypal where you can pay with either your credit card, debit card or paypal account.  If you proceed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your payment and order.  At no point do we at Ebbing Tide see your credit / debit card or Paypal details - these are held securely by Paypal.  If you prefer not to pay on-line, we can accept payment via cheque supported by your cheque card number but if you wish to do this, please phone or e-mail us with your order rather than using the online shop. Your order will be dispatched once your cheque has cleared. 

General

In placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.

None of our Terms & Conditions affect your consumer statutory rights. We reserve the right to cancel your order if the delivery details and/or payment details are not legitimate and/or if Paypal does not authorise your transaction or if the bank does not authorise your transaction (cheque).
