Jane Schaffer

Since mastering the art of making pots on a potters wheel, Jane has enjoyed the immediacy of the process.

It was while working at Krutis's studio in Stockholm that Jane was inspired by the clear line and flowing shapes of Scandinavian design.

Then, during an Artist in Residency in Japan, she was impressed by the Japanese use of pottery in the preparation and serving of food.

These experiences still influence the pots that Jane makes today.

She regularly has exhibitions where she shows her latest work, which she sells through a very limited number of outlets.

Jane has exhibited in London, Kyoto, Paris and York.
