Ammonite Fossil - Pewter Trinket Box

A beautifully handmade and wonderfully textured pewter little keepsake box in the shape of an ammonite.

Ammonites are regarded as a symbol of good fortune and luck. A symbol of wealth, they are believed to attract prosperity and abundance.

The keepsake box makes a great 10th Tin wedding anniversary present (our pewter is 95% tin), However, it could also be used to commemorate any anniversary, for example it could conceal a paper message for a first (paper) anniversary gift, or a small wooden item for the fifth (wood) anniversary. They also make perfect gifts for Christmas, birthdays, engagements, bridesmaids, graduations or any special occasion. 

Every Glover and Smith trinket box is hand crafted from polished, solid pewter. Modern pewter is completely lead-free so it won't tarnish like the pewter of years gone by which had a high lead content and a dull finish. It is also nickel-free and therefore hypoallergenic. 

Because these items are all created in solid metal, the surface of the trinket box will never flake like a silver plated box. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.
