Bee on Flower - Pewter Trinket Box

This gorgeous pewter keepsake box has a wonderful honey bee resting on a forget-me-not flower, with a golden amber stone in the centre of the flower.

The bee symbolises: sexuality, chastity, fertility, purity, hard work and care. 

While often considered a gemstone, the glowing amber is actually a fossilized resin from ancient evergreen trees. It is believed to attract good luck, balance emotions, eliminate fears and help clear the mind. 

Every Glover and Smith trinket box is hand crafted from polished, solid pewter. Modern pewter is completely lead-free so it won't tarnish like the pewter of years gone by which had a high lead content and a dull finish. It is also nickel-free and therefore hypoallergenic. 

Because these items are all created in solid metal, the surface of the trinket box will never flake like a silver plated box. To clean, simply wash with warm soapy water.
