Collection: Quirky Metals
Jim and Laura Stringer graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 1989 having studied on the BA (hons) Metalwork and Jewellery Degree. They went to work in Sheffield working in manufacturing and in Education. It was only after having received accolade for their designs that they decided to set up their own workshop and business. They were awarded prizes from The Worshipful Company of Pewters at their annual "Pewter Live" design competition. They set up a small workshop in Meersbrook, Sheffield, and this is where they design and make their work. They are inspired by nature and the flora and fauna around them.
They design and make quirky pieces in a range of metals including pewter, copper, steel and silver. Designs include giftware, jewellery and quirky homewares. All pieces are individually handcrafted using traditional silversmithing & metalworking techniques.
Bowls are supplied in their own branded box.
