Whiskey Bottle - Clear Frosted Stud Earrings

These studs are special, instead of the usual Murano glass base, these used to be a Scottish Whisky Bottle! Helen breaks up the bottle and melts the glass down bit by bit adding the hypoallergenic steel backs in the flame as usual. These are frosted in a tumbler with sand to give a matte sea glass effect.

Made in a torch flame and then annealed in a kiln overnight to prevent any breakages. The backs are Surgical Steel, a hypo-allergenic metal. The steel backs are fused into the glass while it is still hot, so no glue is needed.

Approximate size varies between 4 and 6mm, but is consistent within the pairs.
